Styling Project

Brief: Design a printed textiles inspired by the film Sin City to be turned into a lampshade. Then style your lampshade in a set influenced by your allocated film.

For this project we worked in a collaborative team. Due to the film having a minimal colour palette we concentrated on mark making and pattern. We were really inspired by the dark and twisted nature of the film so reflected this in our set design. Our set was all black to reflect a sinister feel and we used props that were key elements in the film.
